Welcome to the fun house Sargon. If you find a picture of the effect you want you could turn it into a greyscale, open a lattice and put it into the terrain editor then click new, then picture. Find your greyscale image and click it. Using this method you'll have the required shape and can even use the original color image to give the color you want.
