That whole battle I was personally in a couple of weeks ago was kinda rough, not knowing if members would side with me or with the other...but after much discussion, people got the steam out there and it was taken care of, albeit around 100 posts to do it, but still...it felt good to have a discussion about that and it turned out I had a lot of people on my (and the other 4 people's) side...I enjoyed the support and outreach in more ways than one! It should happen more often, you are right. Just as long as it's done in the right manner and in the right medium (IM, forum, etc.) MD
