To start with, here's a quick list of newer movies that contain Bryce work : Lord of the Rings (all 3) Cube 2 : Hypercube Terminator 3 The Matrix Reloaded Animatrix When animators get together, and they're well paid and highly skilled, they don't sit around and ego-bash each other into using ridiculous programs all the time. What they do is get the job done as quickly and nicely as possible so they can go party or spend time with their loved ones, and that means using all of the tools available. Bryce's animation tools are fast and potent, and when combined with After Effects, are enough to do all kinds of professional environmental work. It's not about the brush or the canvas, it's about the painter, and the painting. The only reason kstar thinks Bryce isn't powerful/realistic enough is because that "artist" never pushed the software. One trip to Ornlu's gallery will take care of that opinion, may it rest in peace. One trip to kstar's gallery will produce NO results, because he/she doesn't even have a gallery. What's really fun is catching those slacker animators using Bryce PRESET materials! (grins)
