For the most part I have liked the Kai or Kai inspired interfaces. The ones that work and make sense, anyway, like Bryce. Poser's was fine when the capabilities of the program were fewer and the meshes and textures smaller and the demands on the video card less (yes, I know Poser doesn't use OpenGL but the video card still handles the screen display). But now the interface just gets in the way. Our pictures are larger..we need more space. All the doodads are just clutter now. They need to be cleaned up and organized. The doodads don't help the workflow one iota. And, it IS slow. Especially Poser 5. Poser 4 is still okay, even Propack. But Poser 5 is abominable for working speed. What bothers me the most is that Curious Labs is working with Poser 5 as their new base. They should simply scrap it as an idea that was too early. The interface should have been worked on FIRST instead of tacking on the new features.
