karen is right, the newer mp3 units are really handy, and the sound is good. If you want really clear fx, you may need an external microphone that plugs into the recorder. Some of them have a mic input, some don't, so that's something to look for when shopping. Vegas will import Mp3's, so conversion isn't needed there. You will need a program that edits and converts mp3's to WAV files if you want to use any sounds directly in Poser. I don't recall if Vegas exports audio as WAV's or not. There are many free converters on the 'net, Hitsquad is a good place to start: http://www.hitsquad.com Acoustica also has some excellent apps as well. Their Mp3toWAV Converter is one I've recommended on my old site and is probably the quickest and easiest. It's not free, but it is cheap! :) http://www.acoustica.com Make sure to watch this forum for some announcement in the next week or so for my old site to be back up. I've got some tutorials for bringing sound into Poser and various other applications, as well as free sound files and other resources. It's all about sound and music! :) --silver Posertrax Music & Sound FX for Posimators Coming Back Soon!!
