Excellent points, Thip. Especially about those actors who are difficult to deal with. The "Hollywood Brats," who throw tantrums and lock themselves in their dressing rooms, or demand $1 million per episode of whatever show they're on. I could easily see producers getting fed up and replacing them with a virtual actor. :) I don't know that people are afraid of it, though. My personal take is that I just don't believe it will completely replace live actors. There are a lot of people doing anything they can to get discovered. They want those few minutes of "fame and fortune." It's existed since probably the stone age, acting out the hunt for the rest of the clan. I can't see it disappearing because it was taken over by virtual actors. If anyone saw Debbie Allen's reality show Fame, recently, and saw how many people showed up for the auditions, thousands of them, it's pretty certain there will always be a market for live actors.
