sorry, but the pun is too good... and true. I was Googling for Japanese lacquer of a different sort, and stumbled over an article which told how the UM coach got a full set of antique armor as a baseball trophy. His team had won 11 of 13 games, and the Japanese decided that the Wolverines had enough "cups", but probably not a suit of armor... which was a traditional offering to the victor anyway. His widow donated the set to the University which displayed it for a while. I think they should either dust it off and display it again or give it to a museum... it is much too handsome and valuable to leave in storage. Carolly
