I asked the same thing some time ago. It doesn't look like they've changed anything other than the packaging and the price, and it looks like it may still work in 98, but I'm not sure because to this day I haven't installed 5 on my PC just yet (I'm in the middle of working on commissions and don't like installing new things when I have major works in progress on my hard drive).
