I was in college for a year. (Mech. Engineering too. Yep, hard to believe huh?) Anyhow, do what you can to get moved to a different room or get a different roommate. I suffered through two different lousy ones (which probably explains why I only was there for a year.) One was a field and track jock, who wasn't all that bad -- but his friends would insist on being loud and playing the stereo, etc. The second was some senior who was looking for a dorm on the cheap I suppose (they had more and better options than the freshmen.) He was a lot worse, I'd describe him better - but that would violate Renderosity's TOS when it comes to profanity. If I saw him today, it'd be hard to resist punching him in the head... Well, enough of those memories. LOL... Just remember, the crappier the roommate - the more the stress - the worse the GPA. Now after flunking out that one year, I ended up working part time to help pay off the loan. Then did 5 1/2 years in the Navy to get the GI bill. Now I need to go back to school, so I can pick up where I left off (This time I won't put up with any crap!) LOL... As for you, try to get it right the first time. Good luck!
