I'm sure there will be some kind of upgrade path for existing owners of Vue4. Most of the people interested in these features will be people who've already used Vue, so I can't see them doing the pricing with only new 'pro' users in mind. They seem to have always been a very 'user friendly' company - I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they won't alienate their support base just to attract the high $ market.
