That's great to know - consistency makes my job easier. Thanks for getting back so quickly! Since Poser 5 Mac is OSX only, I'll have to wait until my G5/OSX/P5 system is up and running to deal with the additional issue of whether the XprssnMagics' Macromedia Director OS 9 file will work in OSX, or if the clipboard data be accessible from X if you run them under Classic. Someone posted that it doesn't, but that could be the missing 42s. Of course, that means giving Macromedia still more of my cash to upgrade to Director OSX, but then I'll be able to make OSX versions. Director is such a damn useful app, but dealing with MM really makes you appreciate the pricing in the Poser world! I don't know what DAZ's policy will be about selling both OS9 and OSX versions and upgrading from 9 to X. I'll post info. when I've got it sorted out - Elisa/gryffnn

Folks who bought my various XprssnMagics want to use them with Poser 5 Mac. Unfortunately, I can't test them now myself, since my Mac work is limited to Poser4 and ProPack on a G3 with OS9 - until my G5 (!) with OSX arrives next month. I hope someone running Poser 5 Mac/OSX will do a small test for me and post the results: please select the head of any figure and use Edit/Copy to place the morph dial settings on the system clipboard. Then open SimpleText and paste. At the end of each morph dial line, is there the number 42? Head 0 RBrowUp Linear 1.0000 42 P5Mac likely has the same problem as developed after a patch for the PC version of Poser 5 came out. For some reason a change was made to the format written to the system clipboard when a figure's morph settings are copied. "42" is added to end of each morph line (other numbers for taper, scale, etc). If that number is not present, on every line, the standard dial values text is just not applied. (This ONLY makes a difference for pasting to/from an external application like my XprssnMagics or a spreadsheet, not for Poser internal copy/pasting, such from one figure to another.) I upgraded the PC versions of Victoria2- Victoria3- Michael2- and StephanieXprssnMagic at DAZ to include the required 42s. They work fine with both the unpatched and patched Poser 5 PC, and with Poser 4 PC. If P5Mac does the 42 thing, I can upgrade the Mac versions (and then address the OS9/OSX issue). Thanks for your help - Elisa/gryffnn P.S. Seems 42 really is the answer to Life, the Universe and Everything.
