Assuming you have uv mapper, open the obj file for the prop and in the mapping menu (I forget which menu it is in the free version), choose the type of map you want to make. This depends on the type of prop. Here are the types of map. Planar - makes a flat map of the object. Box map - good for any cube-shaped or rectangular object like walls, boxes, doors, etc. Cylindrical - Use for all tube-shaped objects. Like a bottle or glass. Cylindrical cap - tube-shaped with top and bottom. Good for hats, etc. Spherical - all round objects. Once you have a map you like, save the obj file and a template of the map. Open the obj in poser and save it as a prop, then use the template to paint th texture. mac
