Burgi, only terrains, rocks, lattices and imported objects can be exported in those formats. After selecting the item, in wire mesh mode, click on the terrain editor (the small "E" next to the mesh or wait until the polygon smoothing dialog comes up) and hit CTRL. + "D ", the export dialog window comes up allowing you the different formats.
