Brownstone flats as all over NYC. They can look snazzy or creepy, always have dark stairwells., narrow alleys or basement cutouts. Anybody ever thought about doing The Dakota!! [you know the place from Rosemary's Baby, John Lennon's death] I know modern sounds dreary but the punks and goths have to hang out somewhere.:)) Emily
