I dont mind flash either, even it takes a few seconds to load. Doesn't really matter unless you're in an extreme hurry, which Im assuming a backroom browser wouldn't be. And this site has some of the most amazing flashwork I've seen, I was truely amazed when I first saw it (still am, lol).
