madmax, Seems your rant could've been at least 10X the size of what you posted. The 2 points of what you touched on I'm sure has echoed within most of the artists here in similar form, myself included. We artistes are emotional analytical creatures (inward & outward). IMO that's what makes for great expression. Your need to change something that "seems not quite right" deserves much praise, & I wish you luck in your quest. As for the hot 20? Consider the source..."Poularity" !! Most artists do not become popular until they're dead,LOL, I'm not waiting for that!! If I get one "In", I'm excited, if I don't...O-well. Hot20 art strikes fast & furious, this electronic enviroment delivers & maintains that. Why do people like Elmo, teletubbies, Elvis, LOTR ? The list is endless, constantly changing, and SO in your face if you wish(or need) to look for it. Good Luck ICM
