d-hood, it's not like this. Go take a look at Rochr gallery or at alvinylaya's or ocddoug's (just to name some of our everybody's favs here) and go to the first postings they made. They have 3, 4, maybe 5 comments. No more than that. And, man, this is NORMAL. Because it takes a while to people to realize you're doing good ones. Bryce gallery has 3 pages of submissions a day, nobody has the time to see them all. But, if you post one or two that are really good, people will remember and will click again next time. I'd love very much if we could stop saying it's "cheating" anytime a discussion about Hot20 and Comments turns up. It's an alibi, you know: allows you to think that the whole world is stupid and cheating and not that you have to improve your skills. Other than writing, I work as a consultant for a couple of publishing houses in Italy, and I get insulted and bashed by would-be authors all the time. Nobody seem to think that accepting criticism (or, in this case, indifference) COULD be one's own fault and not the perverted mafia-like system. This is a general message, I'm still behind some days in the gallery and today I got connected only 4 minutes to read the Forum, so I didn't see your work, d_hood. I'll see it in the next days. But I won't finish this post with "nothing personal", because it's not like this. Above you just said that you came to the conclusion that people are cheating, and this annoy me a lot.
