Yeah, madmax, I know how you feel about not getting into H20 :-). Been there, done that. And that's perfectly normal.

I cannot agree with those who say "I do my art for me and the Hot 20 is not important." It is important. You create a picture and want others to appreciate it. Getting into Hot 20 means that the others show their appreciation.

And yes, what's especially galling is that pictures not as good as yours are getting in there.

And fan clubs. don't start me on them. While there are people who create excellent pictures, not every one of them is that great. Not every one of them deserves to be in Hot 20.

Still, what tjohn says, getting into somebody's favourites is even more satisfying, as much as Hot 20 looks more official.
