It's always an honor to get voted into the Hot20, but it shouldn't be the ultimate goal when you're working on an image. It has taken me a LONG time to realize this. Create what you want to create and if you are happy with it, f*** everything else :-) I've gotten images in the hot20 that I didn't think were good enough to be there --and I've done ones that I thought SHOULD be in there but didn't make it. In the end, it only comes down to how you feel about your own work. After all, creating art should be fun. If it isn't, why do it? Doug
