I agree with all, or most replies in this thread,.......as for myself,....I was very surprised the first time I made it into the "Hot 20", and the only reason I knew about it was because tempest967 E-mailed me and told me. It was only number 18, but I did feel kind of nice about it. When I saw what image it was, my first thought was "you've got to be kidding" then I spent the better part of the next day trying to figure out why, what was it about that particular image that got people's attention. I don't consider myself very adept at using Bryce,.......seems the only thing I can do is landscapes with the occasional animal in it. Madmax br5, you're very talented, you do things I wish I could do, or had the imagination for. I have been trying to do an image based on Mathias Grunewald's "The Temptation of St. Anthony" for the better part of a year,......it always falls apart. As for myself, I keep doing the same type of images over and over again because that's the way it turns out, and it's what's comfortable. You also have to account for lack of real talent on my part. Anyhow,.....don't get to frustrated and keep on working. Make them for yourself, and if it gets accolades, well, that's gravy on the potatoes, isn't it.
