lmckenzie, Let me just clarify one small point. 'another pet hate - so-called 'pornstars'' I didn't mean that the way it sounded. I have no objection to porn in any form (apart from child-porn). Why shouldn't people look at porn? I was brought up to see sex as a normal healthy human form of activity, not some perverted, sick desire. So, if men and women want to do it, (and get paid so people can look at them doing it), good luck to 'em, I say. No, my objection is to pornstars themselves. There was a sort of trend in porn, again during the 80s, that featured 'cheesy blonds' with huge tits and oiled bodies, doing it with californian 'beach-dudes'. The whole thing was ridiculously fake and unconvincing, and just made me laugh. So, when I hear the word 'pornstars', I always think of that type of porn. Incidentally, I made the accquaintence of a pornstar (Ona Zee, from california) many years ago when she came to italy. My friend worked as a sales rep for porn movies in the US and used to come over here for film festivals. Both very sweet girls indeed. So, it's not even the pornstars themselves I don't like. I'm sure they're all nice people. It's the horrible fake look all the shoots had that puts me off. And absolutely, better a pornstar than a politician or lawyer! mac PS Yes, italy elected 'cicciolina' to parliment. She actually did OK, although she seems to have vanished now. The view here is that it's not what you did, but what you're going to do that counts.
