If you're at least updated to Vue 4.1.2, there's no good reason to export .obj's from Poser 4 or P4/PP...why would you? In fact, that old-fashioned method doesn't properly translate bump, transparency, or reflection. And of course, and .obj file of an entire scene is likely to be so huge that it's slow down your set-up and render time considerably. The .pz3 method is far more accurate and efficient...there are very minor tweaks to do (e.g. turn off "casts shadows" for parts of eyeballs, adjust reflection if you'd assigned ref maps in Poser) but that's so much simpler than the .obj method. The Vue d'Esprit forum is an outstanding resource for these issues. Be sure to check the Vue "Backroom" for all sorts of helpful tutorials and links.
