What kind of plugin? Where? You mean the Vue CDs? There are no plugins. Guitta

The synchronization Plugins - So I can export to cinema. It says in the docs that they are located in the synchro Plugins Folder. Videodv

Are you speaking about Vu ePro? Then I don't know, I don't have it. You may ask this question at www.e-onsoftware.com if you cannot find it. Guitta

OK, Sorry I should have said vue pro, I have to go to work now but I will e-mail e-on tomorrow and ask there, unless you are here lynn and can answer this. Videodv.

I think you are one of the first ones who has it in his hands. Congratulations!

One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.

Do NOT e-mail, go to the support at their site. E-mails will not be received. Guitta

I seem to be having some trouble using the support site so If you could answer this Lynn I would be greatful. I have checked again and the Synchronization Plug-ins folder is NOT on any of the three cd's, how or where can I get the folder. Many thanks. Videodv.

videodv, why do you think that there is a special folderfor the plugin?? Just create your dcene or whatever and export for C4D.

videodv ( ) posted Fri, 19 September 2003 at 2:11 PM

I Quote from the Quick Reference Card & CD Holder that has the cd's in. Quote " Synchronization Plug-ins Vue 4 Professional ships with some easy to use sychronization plug-ins for most 3D applications including Maya, 3DS Max, Softimage, Cinema 4D and LightWave. These plug-ins are located in the Synchro Plug-ins folder. They will generate camera and light scripts for use in Vue 4 Profesional. A text file, containing installation steps and user instructins is provided on this CD inside each plug-in folder." Unquote This is at the bottom right hand corner of the first page under the install CD? There is NO folder on any of the disks! if this has changed or it is NOT supplied then can someone from e-on please say why it is saying this is there. I have just been playing around with the export to cinema and so far its looking good, but I will have to go and read the manual now to get better results. Videodv.

As a beta tester, I had no plugins (of course, I have no C4d either).

videodv ( ) posted Fri, 19 September 2003 at 2:49 PM

As I want to get as much integration as possible with cinema and I like using vue (I have ozone 2 as well) anything that lets me work with the two progs that will make my time better spent on doing the things I need to do I will buy. That is reason I brought vue 4 pro for the ease of integration. So if they say there is a function/script/plug-in to help me do this then I say where is it and how do I install it. Just need an answer, are these supplied or are they not! not and unreasonable request I think? Videodv.

Carlos from another thread got a response and here it is. "Hello Guitta/Videodv, Steve Bell from e-on software replied to my support ticket, and he states that the plug-ins folder was left out of the final build of the Windows disks. Go to the following URL in order to read the support thread at e-on's web site, as well as to get the URL from where to download the plug-ins: http://www.e-onsoftware.com/Support/ShowMessage.php?id=1064278422 It might be a good idea to cross-reference this post from Videodv's original thread too. Thanks! - Carlos"
