The thing about the rats is that they look light enough from the left, lit, side. I don't know why. They also should be quite visible on that ground if they are black. Pants, pants... Hm. How high is the bump? Raising it might help. Or, try Crosshatched Wood, raise the scale to several hundred times, and leave it just as bump and use a dark brownish-yellowish colour for Diffusion and Ambience. Also, if you want, you can use some kind of looser pants for adults in Poser and scale them down. Uncheck buttocks and thighs on the human figure when exporting.
