woodhurst, what I like to do is take something that inspires me, like the Thomas Kinkade picture I'm doing in Bryce, and make it real... If creating your own stuff is blocking you for now, try to find something to imitate, and make it your own... (TK is a great place to find inspirational pieces btw) As a painter of light, His works are simply amazing....adjusting the studio lights can take an image from noon to dusk with the lights seeming to glow.. (in bryce that'd be easy, just change brightness of the lights as you reduce the amount of sunlight....grins) just some thoughts on what inspires me. I've been working on another image too for something else...you've all seen those dungeon scenes, dark, cold damp kinda places, well, I've been working on one with some warmth to it...lol I know I know, they not supposed to be that way, but hey, it looks good....hahahahah good luck and if you need some links or hugs and stuff, just give a holler.
