Thank you sascha! My monitor is calibrated, I try to make sure of that due to my digital art, it's very important indeed! I'm not sure if the scanner is doing manual corrections. I haven't had it very long or used it very much. It wouldn't work when I switched to win XP, finally got that resolved. So, I guess I need to fiddle with it a bit. I did play with the curves in PS a bit, still didn't get quite the results I wanted. Thanks again for the tips, I'm going to save them here on my hard drive and try them later when I scan the rest of my pics. Thanks! Mercy
