cynlee, if you're at least a bit familiar with Registry, you can delete entries in there. Otherwise, you have to double-click/right-click on the entries in the System Tray and exit those program before you start working. In the list of processes, there are some that are easily identifiable. But others are not. If you can identify something, kill the process. If you kill a wrong process, the worst that can happen is that you'll have to reboot. Also, download a little program called Ad-aware from www.lavasoft.us It will find and remove possible spyware. I hate programs that settle down in the System Tray whether I asked them to or not. Possible culprits: Real player, Quick Time, various messengers, Seti@Home, browser quick-launch programs, and so on, and so on. Michelle, it's quite possible that PS7 gradually eats more and more memory and then trips itself. Or that it's a bug, if it always happens when you click on "Save As". Bryce sometimes has a habit of shutting itself without a word if you Undoed a lot of times in a row. Have you installed the 7.01 upgrade?
