You may want to ensure you have updated to at least 4.12 release; you can find it at the E-on website. Some thoughts; have you defragged your hard disk? When the render is finished, are you clicking on the small disk icon at the top of the render to finish? In the rendering editor window, do you have render to screen or render to disk checked? I've never had this problem, and am not at my computer that has Vue on it, but this is what I can think of off the top of my head.
