Many people asked for something different from M2. I remember seeing quite a few requests for pretty much what M3 is, aesthetically, which is why it initially surprised me that there were so many complaints within a couple of days of the release. But then, we are a large and diverse community, so there's never going to be a humanoid mesh that pleases everyone. I think it'll turn out the same as V3 did. That is, people will find a niche for their M3 and use it accordingly. I bought the Apatosaur from DAZ, and I love it. That was months ago. I still love it, and I still haven't done a render with it.
