I use IE 4.5 on MAC. I always "download link to disk" then run through stuffit expander (never double click). Sometimes host site problems but in that case I copy thr link to clipboard, open a new window in IE & paste the link imto url & hit re-load at which time it usualy dowwnloads OK. Sometimes BebEdit will auto open the file but I just close it & run thru StuffitExpaner & all is fine.
