Sometimes there's a fine line between a witty jest and kicking someone when they're down and then laughing and pointing at them in glee :( But then - the vast majority of jokes is unpleasant/hurtfull towards *someone*. All I have to do is say "There's an Irishman, an Englishman and a Scotsman..." and most of us know who the butt of the joke will be :(
