Looks to me like a fall-off zone (or whatever the name is) was not properly set - the chest-abdomen interaction was one of the things they were going to look at, so maybe they used the wrong source when they were packaging up. Does anyone who downloaded the first version of the update, with the uncleaned dials, also see this behaviour or did it slip in with the fix? The original M3 release doesn't do this, so as a sticking plaster I'm going to try copying the chest JPs across to SR1.
