Well shoes are "relatively" simple. They make a good starting point for learning skills that can make Poser more useful to you. The exercise is not as formidable as it seems. Learning the in's and out's of UVMapper is time well spent. There are several free programs that will convert the mesh, but Poser itself is probably your best bet. You can probably define the groups with the grouping tool as well as UVM , I just find UVM more forgiving.
