dialyn, it's not so much "girl" vs "boy" but there are some subtle differences that make things seem "off" in art....and sometimes that subtly can make the difference between something that works and something that doesn't. Whether we like it or not, there are styling differences throughout history that separate the "girls" from the "boys" and it carried on through art, even now. So I guess the long layered styles say to me that it's more feminine then masculine, probably the same thing that put you off about the french braiding thing. :) And I don't think we'll be seeing any male heros in french twisted hair or big beehives (I could be wrong there too, but I sure hope not) LOL!!!...so there really is a difference between boy and girl hair. But I'm not here to argue with anyone, I would just like to see something like that made. Quarker would be good, so would Danae :)I can think of several others too. I think it's the layering concept that makes it look off...but who knows? Just my personal taste. Pendy
