Well, if you're going to do the old, out dated chalk lines, don't forget to pencil-in your initials on one of the victim's eyewhites (if you leave them open). That's an fast, in-the-street old time cop trick to see if the person's really dead. The tears of a living human will immediately wash away a pencil mark.
