Subject: How do I add a new figure to a scene without initial one getting deleted?

You have to make sure that the clothing is meant for the figure that's wearing it. And if your character has been morphed to a different shape, you have to make sure the clothing supports those morphs. For example, the DAZ morphing fantasy dress supports many, many morphs; you can make Vicky pregnant or give her huge boobs, and the dress will conform. But with most clothes, pregnant Vicky will "pop through," because the person who made the clothes didn't build in that morph. Usually, if clothing supports certain morphs, it will say so in the description. And you'll see the corresponding dials on the clothing. If you plan to use a morphed version of the character, you should check to see if the clothing has those morphs, too, before you buy. Alternately, you could use something like The Tailor to add the morphs yourself, or buy "second skin" type clothes, that are painted directly on the skin of the character, and therefore doesn't need morphs.
