Yes, because mine is not updated to this version, do we get this Via the Vue Pro updater? Sharen

Yes I just clicked update and it pops up witha screen detailing the fixes, G buffer in network renders, importing textures properly with Obj etc. Hope it all works, did not take them too long, though it did feel like a long time :)

Hey Sharen, the updates are now performed from within Vue4 Pro. From the "File" menu, click "Check for Update". The new build seems to have fixed a number of problems, but two confirmed bugs still exist: 1. Scrolling the rendered image window "captures" the mouse. 2. "Refining" a plant in the plant editor(doubling the polygons) causes part of the pant to fail to render. The greater the refinement, the less of the plant that renders. I'm also experiencing an unconfirmed bug: Repeatedly merging materials together in the Material Summary causes Vue4 Pro to crash...usually somewhere between the 2nd and 4th merge. -SMT

I'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!

....like me, the message from E-on Tech Support and Feedback (I posted at both areas) is basically too bad, so sad. They are not posting this update at the web site for registered users to download and install. They don't anticipate doing this until a few more builds (don't have the email responses from them to hand right now). I have all my graphics programs on an offline computer, which will stay offline for virus safety reasons. I find this quite disturbing...that means no customer support for updates for some of us who legally purchased and registered our product. I'm a tad miffed.

Yeah, they should send update CD's to all their registered customers. Bankrupcy is soooo fun!

Yes I agree. Sharen

I got a note from them yesterday saying they thank me for mentioning the problem I've been having with mapped materials. They didn't even bother to mention any sort of update to me and completely ignored my question about a possible place to download one because my Vue computer is offline! I mean okay, so lets ignore our customers now! Sheesh!

I am sure there are lots of people that use graphic programs off line and would like to be able to download and save the updates to transfer to those offline computers. I hope e-on consider's this and will make available updates to paying customers on their website.
