Subject: Bullet hole font?

Heliix ( ) posted Mon, 13 October 2003 at 9:33 PM · edited Sat, 30 November 2024 at 4:38 PM

Does anyone know where I can get a font, or something to make bullet holes in an image?

Heliix ( ) posted Mon, 13 October 2003 at 9:38 PM

Dents and bullet holes I should say.

Ahh thanks alot man, I apprciate it. Do you know how I could make dents, or scratches?

Heliix ( ) posted Tue, 14 October 2003 at 2:41 AM

Hey retrocity. Is there a way to change the size of these brushes? They are really small. I'm sort of a PS newbie, not sure how to change brush size =.

retrocity ( ) posted Tue, 14 October 2003 at 10:18 AM

Hey Helix, what vers of PS are you using (6 or 7)??

with 7 you can change the size with the "key-shortcut" Ctrl+] to increase and Ctrl+[ to decrease (not sure if this was available in 6 or not... the mind is starting to drop information)...

With brush selected, right click on image and use the size slider thingy (great tech term). Pretty sure that works with v6 and v7.

Ah! Is THAT the word. I love to learn that technobabble I use to impress my mates when they think I make it up. Thanks! But, eh, is it me, or my browser, or is Timo's website in a kind of demo state and not really leading us to the infamous bullit holes?

Thanks alot guys. I will try that out. I have v6 too btw.

Heliix ( ) posted Tue, 14 October 2003 at 9:02 PM

Hmm, I cant change the size of the brush by clicking on the image and using the slider. The only slider I have is a spacing slider that dosen't increase the size.

retrocity ( ) posted Tue, 14 October 2003 at 10:06 PM

wow, your right, boy is it easy to forget what functions are in which version!! I never though just how much the revamping of the "brush engine" changed the way i did my work!!

Helix, one workaround is to stamp/brush one of the bullet holes on a seperate layer all by itself and use the "free transform" tool (Ctrl+t) to resize it.

sorry alot of thinks get confusing between version ;)
