I love Caly's term, software snobbery! That's totally me, at times. I remember when I first started with Bryce, number 3 (it moves!), and flaming some poor kid at 3Dcafe about being a studio max user. I didn't know ANYTHING about max or Bryce, but it sure was fun! His reply to my question about how he makes terrains : "I got the plugin." I said to him, "But does IT MOVE?!?!?" "I would like one day to see a really good landscape or village/country scene on the mag cover, but I doubt that that will happen." - Catlin The best way to get such an image onto the cover is to keep on making them, and putting them up in people's faces.
