maybe not in BillyT's case as much(though I don't know becasue I won't bother trying because of that cursed PC USERS ONLY note), but there are several veondors of GREAT products here who insist on making their products exclusively availabe for the PC in exclusion of all Mac users. How? We can open .zip files w/o any problem and convert the files for use on the platform with other utilities. What the problem is and where that "Exclusivity" comes in is when the vendors feel obligated to sell the product as .exe files. Executable files that come up with a schnazzy intro and graphics introducing their product and proceed to install the items in all the right Runtime folders. TO those merchants I say: Can we forego the schnazy intros and let us do the installing and simply sell us your product as a plain ole simple .zip file? Afterall properly Zipped files also instal in the Runtime folder..if I am not mistaken and you can beef up your sales a bit by letting us Mac "pariah" buy your product. But since that has repeatedly been too much to ask for this Mac Pariah will just buy elsewhere.
