You can post images to the gallery from your hard drive. All the upload does is pull an image onto their server for hosting. You can place an url too but it's more stable if you let Renderosity's server hold the image. Just use the browse button to find the image on your hard drive and it should go well. You don't need a thumbnail either if you don't have one.
