I don't often use limits but I do look at them by double-clicking on the dials in Poser and comparing the values I'm using with the max and min values suggested. When I need twist in an arm, for example, I try to divide it up between the collar and shoulder. I use forearm twist to get the hand turned in the right direction. Look at your own wrist and you'll see that's where the actual wrist rotation occurs - between the elbow and wrist. I often bend the elbow to something close to 90 degrees BEFORE I try to put in the joint parameters, i.e. twist, bend, up/down in the upper arm, because I can see from my own body which direction the elbow should be pointing for the final pose, and it helps me see exactly where the point of the elbow would be on my figure so I can achieve that. When I get through with the upper arm, I pose the forearm/hand. I think you have a problem with the front/back value on your figure's left shoulder. If I try to grab my right arm with my left hand behind my back like that, I'd have to tear my shoulder out of its socket. No flames intended, just trying to be constructive. Gromit
