I had to take a break from Mike's tuxedo, been working in something for Ingenue Vickie instead. This will be what is properly called a motorcycle racing suit, commonly called racing leathers. Nothing next to the weather but leather! I think I'm going to do a motorcycle too, something non-Harlyish, a Cafe racer kinda bike. Something like my old Yamaha RD-350 modified production bike (that had all the TR-3 parts, if anybody has the slightest idea what I'm talking about...). ;-) Anyway, what do you think? This suit is really about serious style, rather than serious racing, of course.

Looks good, the spine is cut in too deeply perhaps.

On a bike in high heels??? Whaw. Safety first I'd say. Nicely done by the way. Don't know if the belly button should stay visible. Let her make some decibels....

nice work Jim :0) and yes I know exactly what you mean when you said 'Yamaha RD-350 modified production bike (that had all the TR-3 parts, if anybody has the slightest idea what I'm talking about...)' that would be very cool

I like this. I'm glad something is being done for her. Great figure, but I only have so many PT clothes to fit her.

raistlin12000 ( ) posted Sun, 26 October 2003 at 5:51 PM

I'm working on a bike myself going to model my bike. The circle I ride in we call the leathers Power Ranger suits. Anyway. Suit looks Good All I ask is make a version of the boots like the real boots. No High Heels I'm tired of seeing all the High Heel boots/shoes. Also Anyway that will fit Regular V3? or is there going to be a v3 version.

Poserworld has a crotch rocket that you be perfect.

Don't know why but she reminds me Trinity. Is that because I saw The Matrix Reloaded 3 times last week? Probably...:-))) BTW, the DAZ's Morphing Cocktail Dress fits nicely on her. You just have to scale the dress at 80% and make some little adjustments on the chest, breasts and shoulders. No need magnets. Regards

mathman ( ) posted Sun, 26 October 2003 at 8:16 PM

she would make a good mascot for Dykes On Bikes !

n3k0 ( ) posted Sun, 26 October 2003 at 9:29 PM

heh, yes, I was watching Matrix Reloaded yesterday, and I was looking at Trinity's boots and wondered, "hmmm, is there one made for V1/V2 or V3 available?" Another one of those "you're a poserholic when..." moments.

Looks good - but definitely lose the navel and the deep spine groove, also create more of a spandex shape over her butt - less cleft between. The way it is now, there's too much risk one starts to wonder - hmm... is that just a skin tex on Vicky maybe?.... :] Fish

Here is a closeup, it really isn't a bump map on IV! I think what I'm going to do is have the belly button and back crease and what-not details adjustable via a morph, I'm thinking this outfit would work well as a fantasy kinda suit too, with different headgear. I'll probably have switching heels on the boots too, for something a little more practical. I think probably do a Glamorous Vickie version too, maybe a regular V3 version, but I don't know if stock V3 has the figure for this outfit! I think DAZ will have to sell this with one of there special installers, as you don't actually need the girl underneith I can now see! My RD-350 had TR-3 cylinders, pistons, heads, carbs and pipes, TZ-350 bottom end, would do about 125 mph first lap, no fairing. I never did put a fairing on it, too expensive when you crashed as often as I did!

elizabyte ( ) posted Mon, 27 October 2003 at 9:26 AM

Awww, that little scrawny chick in high heels couldn't handle a bike. She's just going to pose for the cover of Easy Riders! (Is that magazine still around?) bonni

my hubby had an rd-350 too,the ypvs version,he had the same theory as you with the fairing, too expensive to replace as often so he had a nose cone on it instead..lol..wish i had an outfit like that to wear when i went on it..lol..one thing i have to say about the RD-350,they wheelie very nicely ;)

Staby ( ) posted Mon, 27 October 2003 at 3:53 PM

Yes please, make a regular V3 version too! This outfit looks great. Staby

Jim Burton ( ) posted Mon, 27 October 2003 at 7:11 PM

Actually, I think a small woman like this would do well on a road racer, just think of the power-to-weight ratio she would have! Sort of like when the AMA ran 500cc OHV and 750 Flatheads in Class C (up to 1966 or so, I forget), the fastest guys were very small, some under 5'. You need some upper body strength on a road racer, but it isn't like motocross or anything.

Jim,

Very nice, but I'd have to disagree with the high heels. Something like the boots in the attached picture would make it more realistic.

Gee, but I don't like that style very much, ;-) how about something like this... (Actually, the boots will have switching heels, I might do one more slightly clunkier than this) Het Steve, nice bike!

milamber42 ( ) posted Wed, 29 October 2003 at 7:42 AM

Jim, I really like your stuff, so please do not take offense. High heels with that suit is not pratical. I'm in the group of people here that would like to see pratical, every day stuff for Victoria and Michael. I do agree that the suit reminds me of Trinity's in Matrix Reloaded, but even her boots had a thick heel. I do agree with others that you should make the suit for Victoria 3 with a morph for IV, or mabye an upgrade pack for IV. If the spike heel boots are removable and can be replaced, then I'll most likely buy the suit when it is released. And by having the suit fit V3 and IV, I get the most value for my $$. Just my warped opinion..... And Steve's bike is a nice match for the suit! Nice work Steve!

Here is what her bike is going to look like, BTW... Actually it is my old bike, near the end of its racing life (it got a aluminum swing arm after this). I built the tank and seat myself, as I couldn't buy anything that I liked. I think I'm going to give the bike a 4 leading shoe front brake though, as I always liked the way they looked (heard they didn't stop all that well, though!) I gather most motorcycle riders have never even seen one!

Courtesy of Poser World, nice bike too! Ingenue Vickie waits for her class to be called for the next race. The big question is, how is she going to get all that hair in her helmet? ;-)

She says, "wanna race?" Now you can see why she wears heels, she could never touch the ground, otherwise!

elizabyte ( ) posted Thu, 06 November 2003 at 9:59 PM

You've never actually worn stiletto heels, have you, Jim? ;-) bonni

Ha! Not actually... But the Poser girls wear them so well. (Well, mine do, anyway!)

Beautiful outfit, Jim, as always...I like it a lot!
