Are you using Poser 4 or Poser 5? Dynamic Clothing will only work in Poser 5. That being the case you may find the Poser 5 tutorials that I have written to be of help. Remember that even if you only intend to create a static pose you will still need to do an animation/simulation sequence to get the clothing to fit.
