Problem is not that Corel doesn't care. Problem is that the costs for a new Bryce are extreme high. The original code is really ugly...many dirty tricks. Really not easy work with. So Corel decided that the program needs a rewrite in near all parts. Big bad bastard is that you have to be sure that all old textures have to be functional, all scenes can be loaded and all renderings look the same as in the version before. That is really not easy. Never forget that The original Bryce creator had only a Mac Version and then the Metaguys converted it themself. So it is actually much easier to work on the Mac Code as on the Win Code of Bryce. I'm not sure but I think one said longer ago that Bryce included a kind of Mac to Win converter for some parts. So you can imagine how complicated the work will be. You can be sure that the Bryce Productmanager was near to tears the moment they decided to put the project on hold. Thomas Ex-Bryce-Betatester
