THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: normals

I've been having a problem with the normals getting flipped in Bryce (at least I think that is what is happening). Does anyone know how to fix this? I've looked through all of the options I can find and have been rather unsuccessful. ~Morganah

Are they meshes you've exported from other software or are they just imports off the net? And could you show me an image of the phenomena.

Some of them are files I've exported from other programs (both obj and dxf files) and others are actually boolean models created in bryce using the terrain and lattice editor. Do you have an address where I can email the pic to? I'll keep it small.

Sure , Quikp51@hotmail.com . I know that if you export from LW you can flip normals prior to export that might help but we'll see when I get your email.
