Subject: Vue d'Esprit 4.2 Beta Update for Mac OS X 10.3

Hi there,

We're pleased to announce the availability of the first beta of Vue d'Esprit 4.2 for Panther. This update is of no interest to users of Windows or Mac OS X Jaguar.

The Panther update is in two parts: the first is a fix for the installer, the second is the actual software update.
To install Vue d'Esprit 4.2 on Panther, download the Panther beta installer. Unstuff it and run the installer. You will be prompted for your Vue d'Esprit Application CD to complete installation.

When installation is complete, download, unstuff and run the Vue d'Esprit 4.2 Beta Panther update.

Please remember that this is a beta so performance is not guaranteed and use is at your own risk. Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks for the info (e-on, that is, not the other yahoo with the senseless message). This will surely fix all Panther user's needs. What is the eta on the release version of the patch? I recall a few problems with the original 4.2 beta, as is to be expected. regards, Paul

And it works great. The Setup file "quit unexpectedly," but evidently did its thing, as the Updater worked fine. All problems with open and save fixed. Thanks for the quick action, e-on!
