This usually happens when the object is too far away from the world center or the object is very small. First , select the object or group and click the little "A" gadget next to the object. In the X and Z Origin fields type 0, click the check mark to exit. Now go to the presets and it should look like a normal preview. If it's now too small, under the little preview window is a popup that will let you select "Up Close" view. If it's still too small you'll need to resize the object in the main window. HTH; Dan
