Subject: Bloodsong, how is this sky?

heya; jarm, when you crank up the ambient thing to make 'glowing' objects, remember to uncheck 'cast shadows' on the material options across the top. also, you don't set the ambient LIGHT in the scene to 320... in the materials (the last tab) is where you control the diffuse/ambient light of the particular material. quess: i like this sky a lot! but... it's not exactly what i meant. what i mean is... when i go out and there's a storm approaching at a certain time of day, the clouds cast a kinda orange or burnt sienna light on everything. it's not the sky in particular i mean, it's how the landscape looks under this particular light. it's very odd and hard to describe (let alone capture). ya know what i mean? :)
