I use Photoshop 7. VERY fortunately, it was just the price of an upgrade and even that was covered by my boss. I convinced him "we" needed it, lol. But, if I am to upgrade to the new Photoshop CS (8.0), I'll probably have to pay for that by myself ($170-upgrade). Flaming Pear's "Lunar Cell" is quite cool, but yes it is a trade-off, while it can make very neat looking planets quickly, they cannot be animated, but can work very well for a static background.
